Rules & safety

The short version. The rider agreement in the app is the full set of terms.

Riding

• Wear a helmet. Follow traffic laws, Brandeis rules and posted signs.
• One rider per bike. Only ride a bike you unlocked yourself.
• Check the brakes, tires and lights before you ride. Don't ride a bike that seems unsafe; report it instead.
• Bring the bike back within the ride time limit shown in the app.

Parking and ending a ride

• End your ride inside the campus boundary, parked out of walkways, doorways and ramps.
• Make sure the lock closes before you walk away. The app confirms when it does.

Problems

• Report damage or anything not working through the app, with photos if you can.
• Lost or stolen bike: report it in the app and contact Brandeis University Police right away.
