How much does it cost?
Nothing. DeisBikes is free for approved Brandeis students.
Who can sign up?
Anyone with a @brandeis.edu email. New accounts are approved by the DeisBikes team before the first ride.
How long can I ride?
Each ride has a time limit, shown in the app when you start. You'll get a reminder before it runs out.
What if I go over the time limit?
You'll get a reminder that the ride is overdue. Please end it as soon as it's safe. Staff follow up on rides that stay out much longer.
Where can I leave the bike?
Anywhere inside the campus boundary shown on the app's map, parked out of the way of walkways and doors.
The bike broke down off campus. What do I do?
Use the emergency option when ending your ride and tell us what happened. Staff will collect the bike. If anyone is hurt, call 911 first.
Why do you need my location?
To show nearby bikes and to check that rides end on campus. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
How do I report a problem with a bike?
In the app: open the bike, or tap Report an Issue during a ride. You can add photos.
How do I delete my account?
